Brittaney comes from a musical and artistic family with world-renowned artist, Larry Lebby being her grandfather and was inspired by her cousin, Grammy-award winning artist, Toni Braxton.   Brittaney has trained as a classical, gospel, and jazz vocalist studying artists like Rachelle Ferrell, Esperanza Spalding and looking to Chante Moore as one of the great R&B singers. But when she noticed that she and her Virgo Twin, Beyoncé, share a similar taste in performance style, creative ideas and a fierce work ethic she was further motivated to foster her love for music. Brittaney has been trained by Beyonce's formal vocal coach, David Lee Brewer. Currently, she is coached by Grammy-nominated opera and pop singer, Jonathan Estabrooks. Brittaney is also trained in method acting, the Stanislavski system, the alexander technique, Shakespeare scansion, and the Linklater method. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Actors Studio Drama School. The other is an indie folk-pop duo named Emily + Shawn. They recently released their R&B and pop single "What You Got."
